Getting started
Tap your own name to sign in. No shared password.
Tap New sale, then tap the technician doing the work.
Tap each service. It lands in the basket on the left.
Tap Charge and choose how she is paying.
For salons
Yes. Mi POS keeps taking sales into its own outbox and sends them up when the connection returns. Your card terminal is separate and depends on your own provider.
Online payments — deposits and gift cards bought on your booking page — run through Stripe today. Tap-to-pay on a terminal integrated with the till is going through the provider’s certification. Until that is finished, card sales go through your existing terminal and are recorded in MiSuite as a card tender, so your reporting stays complete.
No. Pay figures — the rate, the basis, the commission percentage — are an owner’s to see. A manager sees none at all, and a technician sees only her own. Everyone sees their own bookings and earnings.
An owner resets a manager’s PIN with their own PIN. An owner who has forgotten their own resets it with their sign-in password — that is the one PIN path that needs no PIN. If both are gone, contact us.
Tap “Forgot PIN?” on the lock screen and sign in as the owner. If the owner cannot either, contact us and we will reset the shop PIN once we have confirmed who you are.
Yes. Send it in whatever shape it is in — a spreadsheet export is fine. We load customers, catalogue, staff and gift-card balances before you go live, and show you a preview of every row before anything is saved.
The manager dashboard exports customers, catalogue, sales, timesheets and gift-card balances as files you can open in a spreadsheet or hand to your accountant. It is your data and there is no charge for leaving with it.
For salon customers
Check the number you entered, and that it is the one the salon has on file. Codes are valid for five minutes and we will not send a second one while the first is still live. If nothing arrives, ask the salon to check the number on your record.
Change it in the app under Account, or ask the salon to change it at the desk. Your bookings, gift cards and points move with you, and every device signed in on the old number is signed out.
Points do not come off a price. They buy rewards the salon has listed — a specific service or product at a point price the salon sets — which you will see in the app under Rewards.
Reply STOP to any marketing text, or turn them off in the app under Account. Reminders about a booking you have made are service messages and are controlled separately, in the same place.
Email privacy@misuite.com.au from the address on your account, or send the request from the mobile number on it, and we will action it within 30 days. You can also ask the salon and they will pass it on.
Deleting removes your name, mobile number, email, notes, any allergy or pregnancy record, photographs, saved cards, devices and review text. The salon’s sale and appointment records remain, no longer identifying you, because the law requires those transaction records to be kept. It cannot be undone — so if you hold an unspent gift card or unused package, use it or ask the salon about it first.
